THE MAKING OF HOLY ART Date and
Time: Saturday, July 26, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Art that glorifies and praises the divine can be created with any tools in any medium and can have any subject. Through prayer we reach that place in us where we eternally stand in the presence of the Creator. Set aside your concerns and worries for a morning. Come and pray and paint. No artistic experience or skill is necessary; this is a worship experience. We will metaphorically "make a joyful noise".
ACTIVE IMAGINATION AND JOURNALING OUR SACRED IMAGES Date
and Time: Monday, July 28, 5:30-8:30 p.m. Active imagination is a technique from Jungian psychology that allows the archetypes of the Collective Unconscious to speak directly to the conscious mind. Hear what the people -- angels, spirits, and guides -- of the realm of Soul have to say to you in particular about your spiritual path. Journaling these conversations using different methods often leads to jaw-dropping results. We are all droplets in the river of the Universe -- may as well go with the flow. |
